Top Mount Pool Sand Filter

The Top Mount Pool Sand Filter features a traditional and proven design with the multiport valve positioned on the top of the filter tank, providing straightforward operation and convenient access for all filter functions. This reliable filtration system utilizes gravity-assisted water distribution that maximizes filtration efficiency while simplifying the backwashing process through intuitive valve positioning.

Constructed with heavy-duty materials including corrosion-resistant thermoplastic or reinforced composite tanks, the Top Mount Pool Sand Filter offers exceptional durability in demanding pool environments. The top-mounted valve configuration allows for easy visual inspection and manual operation of all filter settings without requiring awkward positioning or specialized tools.

Incorporating a diffuser assembly that evenly distributes incoming water across the entire surface area of the filter media, this system prevents localized high-velocity flows that can disrupt the sand bed and compromise filtration effectiveness. The optimized internal geometry ensures consistent contact time between water and filtration media, capturing fine particles while maintaining excellent flow rates.

Ideal for standard residential pool installations, community pools, and educational facilities where simplicity and reliability are paramount, the Top Mount Pool Sand Filter represents a time-tested solution with proven performance characteristics. The familiar design makes it suitable for installation by both professional technicians and knowledgeable DIY pool owners.

With its straightforward operation, robust construction, and efficient filtration performance, the Top Mount Pool Sand Filter provides dependable water clarity season after season. The accessible valve placement and simplified maintenance procedures make this filter system an excellent choice for pool owners who prefer traditional, easy-to-operate filtration equipment.
